Lucas Ruckriem

I have always enjoyed photography and often incorporate it into my design work. Although, recently I have found myself leaning towards analogue design as I am using print techniques more and more; I enjoy the physical process of silk screen and lino printing and will continue to develop my pratice using these methods.

Seasonal Calendar

For my final project I designed a product; a seasonal calendar, that not only incorporates the date, but also the lunar cycle and tells you which fruit and vegetables are in season. This calendar is designed to really ground the user in each month – the habitual process of changing the calendar each day allows the user to stay connected with each season.
