During my 3 years at Manchester School of Art, I have enjoyed completing various projects experimenting within different disciplines such as typography, publication design and branding. I have discovered I have a passion for photography and combining both analogue and digital processes together.
Reinterpret a Classic
‘Misery Made Me a Fiend’ is a reinterpretation of the classic novel, Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelley. During this project I enjoyed experimenting with both analogue and digital processes. I took photographs of nature, architecture and vintage objects, then explored the cyanotype process to create gloomy and atmospheric prints. I went on to crop and refine these digitally, in a form of a publication.
