Hello! I’m Bethan, I’m a Graphic Designer from Bath, currently based in Manchester. I’m always keen to take an experimental, multi-disciplinary route in communicating with design, pushing the boundaries of what design can be. I find I express my creativity best using analogue and physical methods of design.
Octeath is a typeface inspired by The Octagon in Bath. My typeface is a contemporary interpretation of the historic architecture from the 18th century. My type family includes regular, bold and italic as well as ornaments, numerals and special characters that reflect the elegant embellishments of The Octagon and Vaults.
